LOCK it away

How I love my INGDirect savings account. I would highly recommend the ASP or direct deposit, people. It also requires some effort to take your money out (i.e. no ING ATM's chillaxin anywhere, thanks to the fact that it is strictly an online bank). The yearly rate is at 3.5%, I believe. You can also name your savings account, i.e. "Vacation to Paris," or "Touch or Die," etc. The best saving method in my book is saving without even knowing you're doing it.

LAST DAY OF WORK. WOOOO! Jen took me out to coffee this am, and Lori took me to lunch in the 'P.' I have to wrap up some travel arrangements, optimize some filing, and then it is HASTA la VISTA.

The day is actually going by fairly slowly. Ugh.

My nails look hideous. Where is BIG TINA when you need her? I left my Israeli ring at the nail place 2 weeks ago, and I have yet to call and retrieve it. I believe I am putting Big Tina through a test of customer loyalty. If she still haves my ring at her station, I will never see another manicurist. She shall officially be a part of my entourage/retinue. I am tempted to rock white-tipped acrylics because polish lasts for 3 days...watch out Big Tina, for here I come.

DAMAGED

Here I spend the last few minutes of work laboring over the google search:
Charlize Theron: long layers "brown hair."

Yes, people. It is haircut time. I believe I'm going a few shades darker in color...we shall see.

My boyfriend = awesome. I cannot say this enough.

Schmoozed with fellow Goddess, Allison this afternoon. I returned the Mocha Frappe (more like Mocha CRAP) this afternoon that the scooter people had the nerve to give me. I actually don't remember the name of the cafe...which says something about the product. I believe I am just bred to love Starbuck's...and I was punished for my infidelity to the Empire.

Lunched with Madre this afternoon...those people in the clinic have some major staffing issues, and it is greatly affecting the work environment/stress level, etc.

It has yet to sink in that tomorrow is my last day here. Exit interview today. UNeventful.

SMOOTHIE = UNACCEPTABLE BEVERAGE FOR MEETINGS?

Allison tidbit: "They have a CRAFT CIRCLE." *insert ramblings from scooter chick*

The GREAT PURGE continues tonight, and it is with much enthusiasm that I will throw more crap out of my life into the BIN of the past that lingers...not much unlike the not-so-pleasant aroma of the office baƱo.

Recognize.

I need to organize el photographs de Andrea. I need to find a solid week that I can sit down and go through everything, categorizing...the pre-op for scrapbooking. Yes, I said scrapbooking.

Outs.

People Search

Don't even pretend to know me.

Twix = brunch?

I start my new job this week, and hence hurled from the stank trap of a womb in which I am struggling to break free from.

Duane inspired me to take an IQ test, and I only scored a 124. Meh. They further classified me as a 'Visual Mathematician.' What the eff?

Tonight it begins. I am purging my living quarters in the current residence...oh yes, there will be pain. I plan on dumping most everything, recently motivated by:

1. The fact that I start my new life/job in the Springs as soon as THIS THURSDAY.
2. I watched a block of Clean Sweep on TLC and was MEGA MEGA inspired. There will be NO MERCY!

Turns out Kendra is working in the law office directly across the street from my building. Let there be yoga on lunch hours, and galavanting on Tejon! Wheeeeeee!

My nails - hideous. Weekly manicures can be a bit weighty on the 'ol pocketbook, therefore I am left to my own devices.

The US Postal Service is ticking me off: since my mail forwarding this summer, I haven't received ANY of my mail. I am missing my re-issued credit card and new driver's license. I can just imagine how the shit is going to hit the fan when my mail forwarding to the Springs takes effect.

I never believed it would happen, but it did indeed: I like a Lindsay Lohan song. Have you SEEN the 'Confessions of a Broken Heart' (Daughter to Father) video? I was getting ready to go out lunching with the aforementioned Kendra when it came on the tube. It brought me to TEARS, people. I am so snagging it on iTunes tonight as I am de-junking.

Anywho, I'm outs for the afternoon. I have some de-junking to do here in the office before my last day (WED! YAY!)-

Call the Colorado School of Dental Assisting! START YOUR CAREER TODAY!

Or not.

My hygenist is 43, weighs MAYBE 105 pounds, and wears gold, tassled cowboy boots with boot-cut jeans.

We LOVE hah.

So since el job is over with next week, I am getting MOST antzy. I find myself trying to sit in my office, pretending to work. I actually have everything done, unfortunately, so I have to pace myself with everything else when it comes my way. OR.ELSE.I.GO.CRAZY.

Bored.

I can't get out of the szechuan.

I doubt I spelled that correctly. MEH.

Vagina Monologue auditions next weekend.

Sweet Jodi.

One down...ANDREA GETS HER NAILS DID

This weekend went by entirely too freakin fast. Eli's b-day bash last night...CHICKEN WANG, YA'LL!! Stomped around G-Dad's new propertay, which looks great. He has the best view of Pike's Peak. Purchased scrapbooking supplies with Duane-age.

It is entirely worthless to get my nails done, I have decided. Within a matter of TWO days, my nail polish starts to crack. WTF? Also--left my Isreali coconut ring at Big Tina's table. Not cool. Hopefully she snagged it before anyone else did.

I can't wait to move down to the Springs...I'll be done with el Denver job on the 30th.

GIVE TANKS!

This time, last year, I was rockin the Ville. This year we're havin a huge hubaloo at the rent's place. I am in charge of el royal green bean casserole.

Duane: "You COOK?!"

News (INSERT)

Happy Birthday, ELI!

Friday. At last, at last, biotches! I haven't updated in a good long while...but since
A.) I lack any and all motivation to work, and
B.) Blogger is magically unblocked from surf control (woohoo)

I am LETTIN loose.

I'll start off with the big news: we're a go-for-launch on the move down to the Springs with Duane. I have a job down there--temp until school starts in January. I put in my notice here in Denver on Wednesday. Adios, los trollios!

Also--Duane and I have been looking at engagement rings for the past few weeks, so its happening, people.

Whilst I'm down in the Pike-age Peak ZONE, I'm finishing school (FINALLY).

RENT is finally coming out next week! WOO-freakin-HOO! When we were in NY in October, Duane won us front-row tickets on the opening day of RENT after the temporary closing of the Nederland.

You do read pinkisthenewblog, right?

Finally finished up Jarhead last night...Anthony Swofford = YAY. I can't wait to read his next novel. I bought another military-themed narrative of WWII called If You Survive, about the landing/slaughter at Normandy. Oddly enough, we met this marine last night at Heidi's who's grandfather did aerial photographing/recon for the landing at Normandy. GET OUT, right?

Right.

Finally serviced el Jeepage last night...DEVASTATINGLY overdue. Next job in queue is the big pack-up down in Parker for el relocaTION. I'll be most satisfied when everything is taken care of...things are no longer slipping out of my control.

Ortho-evra - THE DEVIL.

My rep from C.E. took me coffee-ing yesterday...WOULD YOU LIKE some COFFEE WITH YOUR FOAM? What the eff?

I now have glasses, which is odd. It is ridiculous how my entire 'driving experience' has improved.

As far as Denver is concerned...

I am greatly looking forward to heading south for a while. An hour and a half commute each way was seriously taking it's toll.

This weekend : album-gasm. Salsa? Perhaps. ADDRESS CHANGE.

Fire.retardant.

Salsa Saturday

The alarm clock on my cell is going off upstairs, and I have no intention of turning it off. I think it went off for a solid 2 minutes.

Felt like absolute shiite last night, no thanks to my current ailment that would make a Walgreen's pharm tech blush when handing you over your presrip.

Today and tomorrow = employee discount at LB. YAY FAT GIRLS ON THE LOOSE! I can't print out the coupon, tho. BLAH. They are most likely trying to get rid of their out of season shit. I need some more pants, tho. I might checketh this out.

Lunch with el mighty Kendra hoy.

Today is going to be better.
